Dodd Statement on Connecticut Student Loan Foundation

-- Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) released the following statement in response to the recent announcement that the Connecticut Student Loan Foundation will be unable to provide financial assistance to college students beginning this fall:
"Each year, college degrees open the doors to increased earnings and economic stability for thousands of graduates. I will continue to work to make certain that every Connecticut student that is eligible for federal aid receives it," said Dodd. "Every student and parent should know that this news should not affect their access to federal education loans. I encourage students with questions or concerns regarding their federal student loans to contact their college or university's financial aid office or to contact my office directly."
