Minnesota State University Moorhead is committed to helping students financially
More than 80 percent of degree-seeking students receive financial aid that includes scholarships, work study, grants and loans. We distribute more than $46 million a year in financial aid.

MSU Moorhead typically awards more than $1.3M in student scholarships a year.
Work opportunities are available on and off campus, including campus work study, non-work study, and off-campus employment.
Reciprocity agreements with North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Manitoba allow students from these states to attend MSU Moorhead at comparable in-state tuition rates.

MSU Moorhead waives the non-resident portion of tuition for U.S. students from non-reciprocity states. Students do not need to apply for this benefit; it is available to all students who meet admissions standards and remain in good academic standing. The benefit is available to undergraduate and graduate students.
MSU Moorhead values students who are committed to a quality education. We award scholarships for academic achievement and exceptional talent, and we offer a variety of scholarship opportunities to meet students' needs.
